Decision-Making in the Full Mess of Business

24. Mai 2026

Recently, Danielle IJkema and I had the opportunity to share the HELIBLICK organisational decision-making framework in a webinar organised by EMEA Recruitment.

The discussions during and after the session confirmed something we repeatedly see in practice:
Many organisations are struggling with complexity, cross-functional tensions, overload, and constant firefighting.

At the same time, there is growing interest in different ways of working together:
• more awareness
• better sense-making
• stronger co-creation
• more continuous learning across functions

For those who could not join the webinar – and for those who would like to explore the framework in more depth – I am pleased to announce a new LinkedIn post series starting this week:
𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗞
𝟭 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸
𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀

Over the coming months, I will reflect on questions around:
#DecisionMaking #Leadership #Collaboration #Complexity #IBP #Transformation #Culture #Engagement #Performance

If you would like to 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 for the series:
• open my LinkedIn profile
• click the 🔔 symbol
• select “All”

I look forward to different thoughts, experiences, and perspectives throughout the series.
And if there are questions you would like me to explore, please feel free to send them to me.

#2 – Why do we often treat complex problems like complicated ones?
#3 – Why does our CEO sign all travel requests?
#4 – Why are simple solutions not always the best?
#5 – Why does hierarchy matter in a crisis?
#6 – How to avoid “management by decibel”?
#7 – Do “toxic people” really exist?
