In the breakout discussions, the group added a very practical perspective:

โ€ข Missing S&OP fundamentals and planning discipline
โ€ข Siloed thinking and limited business leadership involvement
โ€ข Challenges in integrating volume and value, especially with Finance

โ€ข Often still ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ธ or not truly embedded
โ€ข Long-term thinking exists, but is rarely connected to decisions
โ€ข Ownership of strategy is often unclear
โ€ข Scenario thinking is used, but not consistently translated into action

What I found interesting is how closely practice confirms the theory:
