#1 – Why does everything start with self-awareness?

24. Mai 2026

You sit in a meeting, and something feels off.

You feel uneasy in your stomach.

Your chest feels tight.

You feel a knot in your throat.

But you ignore it and continue professionally.

Even in organisations, we are still human beings.

We have emotions.

Personal needs.

Mental models shaped by our experiences and environment.

Often, our body senses tensions before our mind fully understands them.

If we care about the organisation, tensions become important signals.

Signals that:

– something needs attention

– expectations are not aligned

– a conflict remains unresolved

– or an important conversation is avoided

If we explore these moments, opportunities for improvement can emerge.

They can strengthen both the organisation and our own wellbeing.

The challenge is that most people were never taught to work constructively with these sensations.

And many corporate cultures still treat emotions as something that should stay outside professional life.

→ Conflicts remain unresolved

→ People disengage or go into freeze mode

→ Or pressure turns into defensive or aggressive behaviour
